In February of 2024, I was appointed to the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education.
Through honest & open dialogue and dedication to our students, staff, and community, I am honored to say that I have been a part of helping the Gahanna-Jefferson leadership implement the district's strategic plan in the following ways:
* Successfully implemented new curriculum at the preschool & elementary level along with an expanded focus on career and college readiness for higher levels
* Continued to navigate through the opening of the new high school in January of 2026 and the implementation of block scheduling
* Hired a new treasurer, and received a 4-star rating on our Financial Report for the State of Ohio
* Increased community communication through Coffee & Conversations, Board Workshop meetings, and active engagement in district events
* Adopted clear policies with our students and staff's needs at the forefront
